Meet Snow
We are Don & Peggy Hanson, Twin Falls, Idaho. We have raised a family and over 10 German Shepherds as pets in our 36 years together. We have found this breed especially good with a large family, as they are very loyal and protective. Normally we have two at the same time to keep each other company.
We lost a beloved pet a few years back and it took us a while to get motivated, but two years ago we started looking for a companion to our 7 year old White German Shepherd Buddy. After a long search we came upon Silver Mountain Shepherds. We made an appointment and it was a day we doubt we will ever forget. Upon arriving you will see many German Shepherds, in the most serene atmosphere, some laying under big trees, others swimming in a lake size pond. No one barked at us, they just watched us. Then we were greeted by the owners, who really know their Shepherds. The puppies were kept in a yard area surrounded by hay bales, and there must have been 15 or more to choose from, all colors.
We had never had such an experience and opportunity to find our puppy. But, we did. Ann, one of the owners, handed me a little white female that they called Kitten. She took our hearts in about 3 seconds. She was the smallest of her liter, but made her presence known. She went from me to my husband, and we could not leave without her. We renamed her Snow Angel, and call her Snow.
This is Snow the first day we brought her home on the left, 6 weeks later she has tripled her weight, her ears are straight up, she is house broken, no longer chews on the furniture, prefers rawhide bones, weighs just about 28 lbs, and the Veterinarian we took her to says she has a great bone structure, very healthy puppy, who will be quite large.
This is Buddy 15 lbs lighter and in better
shape since we brought home his new companion!
Thank You
