Here is a pic of Aspen in the fire truck….every time you open a door she is up in the seat and ready to go. I started bringing her to work with me here at the St Maries Fire Department, as she was very skittish of people. I started out socializing her with the people walking in and out of the station.
She became very comfortable here and all of the firefighters love her. One night, we (the firefighters) were doing some training on the trucks…. Aspen decided that it looked like fun, and all of a sudden she was in the truck, barking at all of us almost like she was saying…. ” hurry up you guys…. we gotta go). She has become a very important part of my family as well as a very important part of the fire department. She is soooo smart and has a magnificent personality. She is my best friend and rarely leaves my side…. As you know I lost my 10-year-old gsd in 2009 and missed her so much that I just had to get another….. Aspen was the perfect match for me.
