As a former ski patrol avalanche rescue dog handler, I am very particular to say the least. After an extensive, multi-state search to find a reputable GSD breeder, focused on quality genetics and temperament, I contacted Silver Mountain Shepherds, arranged a visit and spent time with all of the beautiful GSD’s at the ranch. I was immediately impressed with their dedication, passionate nature and knowledge of the breed.
I chose my female at 13 weeks (or I should say we chose each other). One week later, I brought Tundra home, and from day one, she has been an extremely intelligent, alert and loyal companion. Fast forward 11 months, and she has grown considerably, flourishing into the perfect partner, eager to learn and always at my side.
It was clear from the start that Paul and Ann truly care about placing each of their dogs with the right owner/family and proper environment. I highly recommend Silver Mountain Shepherds, and would like to extend a huge thank you for their commitment to excellence with this incredible breed!
